How to register for MozyHome
This tutorial walks you through signing up for a MozyHome account.
1. Create a MozyPro Account
2. Purchase resources
- Add storage to your account
- Enable Autogrow (optional)
3. Create User groups, Users, and Subdomains
- Creating a new user
- Create one or more user groups (optional)
- Add a subdomain to enable users to restore their own files. (optional)
4. Download and Install the MozyPro Backup Software
5. Advanced Configurations (optional)
- Auto Installation of the Mozy Backup Client
- Create additional administrators
- Create admin roles
- Create Client configurations
- Set password policies for users
- Co-Branding
6. Additional Steps (optional)
Mozy Mobile: Access your files from your phone or tablet using Mozy Mobile. For information on enabling it on your account for free, click here.Mozy Sync: If you would like to sync files across different computers you can install MozySync. This utility will instantly sync any file in the folder across all devices that has Sync installed. Also all files stored in the Sync folder are accessible through the Mozy mobile app.

2. Download and Install the MozyHome Backup Software
3. Select Files for Backup
4. Schedule Backups & Set Bandwidth
- Schedule backups
- Set bandwidth settings (Windows / Mac)
5. Start the First Backup
