For MozyEnterprise users on Windows platforms, you can integrate Mozy with a key management server (KMS) that uses the Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP). A KMS centralizes key management with other IT applications, and the Mozy integration automatically provides each user with a unique key for backup encryption. Currently, with this feature enabled, a user can use the backup software to backup and restore files, and both users and administrators can use Mozy Restore Manager to restore files. Mozy currently recommends and fully supports SafeNet KeySecure, physical or virtual editions. Other KMSs that meet the requirements will be considered upon request.
