Mozy on the Web 2.7 Release Notes
Article Reference ID: 000272914
Version 2.7.1
Fixed Issues
- For users in organizations which require use of only a corporate encryption key or only a personal encryption key, the link to upload files to their online instance of Mozy Sync from within a Web browser does not appear. For organizations which specify these encryption key types, this ensures that all files in the Mozy cloud are encrypted according to their expectations. This does not apply to MozyHome.
- Resolved an issue which prevented a link from appearing when Restore Manager was chosen as the delivery method but a user's Web browser failed to recognize that Restore Manager was already installed. This link allows affected users to notify their Web browsers that Restore Manager is installed already and opens the Restore Manager to proceed with downloading their files.
- Improved the text of a message which appears when servers are temporarily busy, and which advises the user to attempt the request again later.
- Resolved an issue which could cause the page to always be loading if the date was changed to one older than the oldest available version of a file listed on that page.
- Resolved an issue with clicking the "/" in the breadcrumbs while browsing files backed up from a Linux device which resulted in an error message, rather then opening the corresponding folder.
Version 2.7.0
New and Changed Features
The backup software for Linux, which is now publicly available, can be downloaded. Only MozyPro and MozyEnterprise accounts may use the backup software for Linux. Individual files may now be instantly downloaded, and users who are enabled to do so may now order delivery of their files on media restore.
