New and Changed Features

• Performance Improvements for 2xProtect

  Changes were made to 2xProtect to improve performance for the feature and the backup software in general.

• Improved Speed for Removing Files

  We improved the speed of removing a large number of files from being backed up.

• Added Control for Admins over User Encryption Key Types

  Administrators can now better enforce encryption key standards by forcing users to change their unapproved encryption key type to an approved one. You can do this by selecting Prevent back up if encryption does not match policy in the Admin Console.

• Alert for Users Using Unapproved Encryption Key Types

  If the type of encryption key you use is not approved by your organization, the backup software will alert you and provide a link to start the process of changing your encryption key.

• New CLI Command to Change Account Email

  Administrators can now change a user's account email with the change_email command.

Issues Fixed

• Fixed an issue that caused compressed files to be restored uncompressed.
• Fixed an issue that caused a newly created HyperV virtual machine to not appear in backup sets.
