Version 2.2.0

New or Changed Features

Restore Manager may be used to decrypt files which were encrypted with a personal encryption key or with a corporate encryption key. In addition to files downloaded with the Restore Manager itself, this applies to files downloaded as compressed archive packages. To decrypt files on a Windows computer, it is no longer necessary to download and use the Decrypt Utility. To decrypt files on a Mac, it is no longer necessary to install and use the backup software itself. For more information, see Decrypt Files with Restore Manager.

Fixed Issues

There are no fixed issues in this release.

Known Issues

  • On Windows, Restore Manager hangs when extracting a compressed archive package which contains a file with \r in its name.
  • On Windows, compressed archives do not support files with EFS encryption. Such files must be obtained either by direct download with Restore Manager or by using the Mozy software.
  • On Mac, the Pause/Resume button can be slow to respond while disconnecting from and connecting to networks.
