Restoring Files From the Admin Console (MozyPro)

When restoring files from the Admin Console, you have the option to download the files directly, have them packaged into a series of archive files (.zip or .tar), use the Restore Manager, or pay to have the restored data shipped to you on DVD's or an external USB hard drive.

  1. Log in to your account at https://secure.mozy.com.
  2. Click Search / List Machines.
  3. Click the name of the computer from which you want to restore files.
  4. Click Restore Files in the upper right corner.

  1. Another window will open. If you receive a "No files exist" message, you may be on your Sync tab. Click on Devices on the left hand side of the screen to see a list of devices currently on the account. Select the device you would like to restore files from by clicking on the computer name. 
Web Restore Devices
  1. Select the files or folders you would like to restore by checking the boxes to left of the names of the files or folders.
Download Files
 
  1. If the data is under 5 GB you can instantly download the files by clicking on Download button
  2. If the restore data is larger than 5 GB, click on Large Download Options at the bottom of the Actions panel at right.
