How can I add additional storage space? - MozyHome

If you reach your storage space limit, Mozy will notify you with a pop-up window that is displayed on the Mozy tray icon. For Windows the icon will be by the date/time lower right of your screen. Mac the icon will be at the top right , also by the date/time.The pop-up window will state that you have exceeded the storage space and give an error (AccountError3) . In order for backups to resume, you must do one of the following:
  • Deselect files for backup so the amount of data you are backing up falls below your limit. (How do I deselect files in Mozy?) 
  • If you are using the 50 GB plan you can upgrade to the 125 GB plan.  
  • On either plan you can also purchase additional storage space (20 GB increments) for an additional fee of $2 per month. Currently, the maximum number of 20 GB increments that can be added to a MozyHome account is 99. For more information on plans and pricing, please visit our product page. https://mozy.com/product/mozy/personal​

To purchase additional storage space:

  1. Log in to your account at https://secure.mozy.com.
  2. Select Manage Account on menu at top right.

  1. Under Account Pages in the left menu, click My Plan

  1. Click Upgrade Current

  1. Enter the number of 20 GB increments you want to purchase.
  2. Click Continue

  1. Review the charges, then to accept click Submit.
