If your hard drive recently had a virus, and you reformatted your computer to get rid of this virus you may have a slight concern as you begin to restore your data:

Did your virus accidentally get backed up with Mozy?

Unless you know the exact location of the virus, and the name of the file that contained the virus, it is very difficult to tell whether or not that virus was backed up with Mozy.  Due to the volatile nature of computer infections, we highly recommend working with a specialist who deals with viruses.  However, there is a path to restore your data that contains less risk of reinfection: Once you have restored your files (whether it be via web restore or client restore) and before opening any of those files, run an anti-virus scan on the restored files. Make sure that your anti-virus software is up-to-date before doing running the scan.
