Client Software Upgrade and Retirement Policy

Client software lets users access and use the Mozy Services. Client software is maintained and updated for the three most current releases. Only major and minor releases are counted as part of the three current releases. For example, a major release such as 2.0 and two minor releases such as 2.2 and 2.4 count as the three currently available releases. Neither maintenance nor hot-fix releases affect the life cycle of the product. See Release Types for more information on the classification of releases.

Once a new major or minor release of the client software is available, the oldest major or minor software release is no longer available for download. Customer backups continue to run.

Support

Customer support is available for the four most current major and minor releases. If you are using a version no longer supported, you should upgrade to a more current release before contacting customer support. Supported Operating System

Mozy client software will discontinue supporting an operating system when the OS vendor discontinues support.
