Mozy is designed to protect your current selection of files and keep those backups up-to-date in our world-class data centers. Unfortunately Mozy is not able to recover files that were lost before it was installed or before it was able to back them up.
It is important to ensure that files are properly selected and that they are backed up after the initial backup is completed. This can most easily be done by viewing the files available to be restored on your account at mozy.com.
