Note: These steps apply when adding or creating a sync only user without also installing the Mozy backup software.
Steps:
- Log in to your account at https://secure.mozy.com.
- Click on Add New User from the left hand side.
- Select the user group that you want the user to be under.
- Choose Desktop for type of user.
- Set how many devices can this user backup to 0.
- Click the Enable Sync option.
- Type the name of the user and the email address.
- Click Add User(s) button.
Once the user has been created and the user's password has been set, you can install Mozy Sync software for the user on computers sharing files with Mozy Sync.
